The Gardens of Vaxergues : organic in short circuit

Beyond quality accommodation with all the desired services, the Domaine de Vaxergues offers you a place dedicated to nature where you can escape and discover the benefits of organic farming.

The organic garden 

Our 3 hectare park is certified AB (Agriculture Biologique). We produce our own organic vegetables and our beautiful laying hens provide us with eggs all year round. Nicolas, the gardener, will be happy to show you the vegetable garden and you can of course buy our organic eggs, vegetables and fruit which are close to your gîte.

Our labels

We have chosen to design the space to favour biodiversity in the park. Some of the trees are over 300 years old! Other species have been selected to provide shelter and food for the many birds. We have also installed nesting boxes for chickadees, insect hotels and a bat house. During your stay, you will probably see wild rabbits in the park.

This haven of peace is a place of inter-generational exchange where educational visits and workshops are organised.

Our park is a refuge for nature and birds, certified by the LPO.
